POST-AWARD ADMINISTRATION

The Post-Award Administration office is responsible for financial monitoring, compliance, and fiscal oversight of sponsored activities. The office's purpose is to provide administrative support and assistance to the PI, to ensuring that funds are expended in accordance with the terms and conditions of the funding agency, Cal State University System, Cal State LA and UAS policies.  

Responsibilities

1.

 Set up the sponsored project in the financial system 

2.

Work with PIs on detailed budgets line item 

3.

Review expenditures to ensure funds are utilized in accordance with the terms and conditions of the funding agency

4.

Prepare and submit financial reports

5.

Providing support to faculty on the administration, compliance and fiscal management of the sponsored programs 

6.

Reconciling project's activity for final financial close-out.
